After Christopher Reeve finished Superman III, and said he was through wearing a cape, the producers looked to Superman's cousin Kara to continue the franchise. Helen Slater looks cute in the costume, and Faye Dunaway chews the scenery in full bitch Mommie Dearest mode, but the results were less than stellar.
